Launch of UK Property Investment Education Accreditation

The Property Investors Bureau is pleased to have hosted its first physical event for the Property Educators Accreditation Scheme’s members and key stakeholders.

It was a launch event held at the prestigious Hamilton Fraser offices on 22nd of September and was attended by influential figureheads from within the property investment industry. The launch event signifies the opening of the highly anticipated Property Educators Accreditation Scheme to a wider audience and will begin the rigorous process of promoting a more transparent and ethical property investment education sector.

John Howard, one of the founder members of the scheme had this to say ahead of the event: “Having been invited to be a founder member I was delighted to accept . In my view the Property Education Industry has been calling out for such an organisation that distinguishes  between the genuine decent honest property educators and others who will not be accepted into PEAS

Mark Lloyd of Property Master Academy Ltd commented: “We are delighted to have received our PEAS accreditation. Our industry has been under scrutiny for a number of years and we believe this will help improve standards and transparency for those looking to invest in their property education.”

Ranjan Bhattacharya, founder of Succeed in Property said: “As a provider of property education for the last 15 years, I am delighted to be one of the founding members of this initiative. This will raise standards and will help consumers by acting as a foundation for making more informed decisions when choosing an educator.”

Working in tandem with government approved agencies such as the Property Redress Scheme has helped to solidify the goals of maintaining and increasing standards in the industry, and Tim Frome, managing director of the scheme had this to say on PEAS: “ We at the Property Redress Scheme (PRS) are pleased to support the Property Educators Accreditation Scheme (PEAS) as we share the same objective of increasing standards in the property industry and providing consumers with suitable redress if they have an issue with a provider of a service.

We were delighted to assist the PEAS leadership with the formation of their code of conduct and look forward to working closely together to assist both the organisation and their members with best practice in complaint handling and providing independent resolution to any escalated complaints.”

Cyril Thomas, Chairman and Founder of the PIB said: The property education sector is an area of utmost importance for the PIB and one of its main goals is to raise the standards and reliability in this area. Anyone looking for property education that sees the PEAS badge on training/marketing materials, can feel confident that the educator has been through a thorough and varied accreditation process and that they have a transparent money back guarantee amongst other things.”
